Due to the numerous reports of multi-client PvP incidents during the hours that staff are not available, we are encouraging players to take measures to ensure that we are able to process these reports effectively.
MC PvP cases are extremely difficult to deal with due to the nature of what constitutes a player(s) as a multi-client. For those who are not familiar with the rule, a player is not allowed to control more than one character while engaging in player vs. player contact. This includes but is not limited to using another character to heal your own, pushing players away from an alternate character, attacking other players while another character is engaging in same PvP.
If this situation arises, the following steps should be taken to ensure the best response to your rule violation report:
1. Use the CTRL + R function and report by using "MC PvP" in the prompted fields and wait patiently for an available staff member to respond.
2. Send a private message to staff members; list of staff members can be found here.
Contacting a staff member and having them witness the incident live is the best and most efficient way. We can not assume that a player is MC if they have the same IP and we did not witness them actively engaging in PvP. If no staff member is present, we recommend that you download a screen recorder to record the incident that can later be reviewed by a staff member. If you do not have a screen recorder, you can download one by following this post: CamStudio.
Not all players with the same IP address and same account name can or will be considered MC PvP, thus the only way for staff to be able to properly address these reports will be contacted through game or to provide a video recording.
If you have any questions regarding what is constituted as MC PvP or about any of the mentioned above, please feel free to reply back or contact a staff member in-game.
